Pilgrim activity day

We had a great afternoon getting ready for our pilgrim feast day. We braided belts,beaded necklaces , baked breads, sewed pockets, stamped napkins and weaved placemats. Thank you to all who helped! We had a great time!

Plimouth plantation field trip

Writers Workshop

We had a great day today learning about  leads in writer's workshop. We learned about 3 different kinds of leads that writers can use. The action, dialogue and the midway chain of events. The students worked hard at trying all three with a story they had previously written.

What is it? This week we all made guesses about what this artifact was used for! The kids came up with some interesting ideas!!
